The Cypress Canyon Railroad is a G-scale (1:20.3), backyard, garden railroad,
owned and built by Steve Blackson in Austin, Texas.
Steve has been an active model railroader since the early 1970's and over the years,
had built three, large, HO/HOn3 layouts in his garage. Several years ago, Steve
moved from 1/87.5, HOn3-scale, to 1:20.3, G-scale, and relocated from the garage
to the backyard.

When modeling in the smaller scales, the emphasis is on "model" railroading.
In garden railroading, the emphasis is on the "garden".
